Lent

Lenten season. Around this time last year, I gave up sweets. This year, I'm back with advantage. No chocolates and cakes for me thank you very much. I wonder if I should just give them up for good. Ha. YA. You might as well just lock me a room and suck out all the air.

According to mom, I used to believe that the blacker the ash wednesday cross was on your forehead, the more sins you had to atone for. So.. how black was your ash wednesday cross? ;)

  3. 'You might as well just lock me a room and suck out all the air.'.. and put in snakes for more fun! lol!

but ya, i can relate. i try to substitute EVERYTHING for chocolate, yogurt tastes a bit icky already from my having it every single day. sans rival's my current fling. like sinking your teeth into a nice chunky bar of butter.

but in all fairness to me, that chocolate cake i posted was right in front of me for like a good hour, and all i did was looked at it like thrice. when my friends got tired of waiting for me to give in, they just got it and eat it. i guess when you do something for sacrifice, it's easier. pag diet kase, you could always cheat:D

  4. forgot the saying someone shared with me.. but it was to the effect na.. if you're giving up something, but you're eating something similar, then how is that a true sacrifice? so napaisip ako.. because i'm only NOT eating cakes & chocolates. how about all those other sweets there? lol
